Jothsna is a 2023 Obama USA Leader and recipient of the 2023 Creative Climate Communications Award from the Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership who designs and implements award-winning climate change programs rooted in community and centering personal stories.

Story Coaching:
- Storytellers work with Jothsna through a one-on-one coaching process to craft and finalize their personal narrative. The goal is to co-create a story that honors the storyteller’s lived experiences while also illuminating the data and values of the campaign.
- The story coaching is a confidential, trust building process until the story is permitted by the storyteller to be shared for the next steps.
Creative Brief and Illustration:
- Narratives are handed to Lauren to brainstorm creative direction of illustration.
Modifications and Feedback:
- Illustrations are finalized after incorporating feedback from the client and storytellers.
- Jothsna and Lauren work together to utilize equitable practices that incorporate storyteller and client feedback, with an eye for cultural sensitivity and to ensure that final products are approved by and representative of storytellers voice and likeness in honoring ways.
Final Deliverables and Creative Programming:
- Final formats of illustrations and narratives are delivered (posters, digital files, etc.) alongside any creative presentations or interactive elements of the project.
